The new photography section is launched! Let’s start the photo hunt with a good old Safari! There is nothing more beautiful than nature itself, it’s landscapes, vegetation and wild animals. Ever looked deep in the eyes of a cheetah?
In wild life photography one needs to be patient, to wait for the animals to appear from the bushes and to get the best view and angles. This patience teaches us to appreciate the moment and to see the beauty of the nature and things we can observe. After a while one understands that there is an interconnectedness between different species, which need each other to survive. The elphants rip off trees and branches and thus make space for new plants to grow. The monkeys throw fruits from trees which other animals like warthogs are able to collect.
A true circle of life! A circle which we should appreciate, value, try to protect and care for. With all the abilities, skills and knowlegde we have, we should use these to support the nature and the universe, to understand it and not destroy it.
These photos were taken with a Nikon Camera and 300mm lens allowing for sharp pictures even at large Zoom, which I almost didn’t need because the animals got so close on our safari. These photos were taken on the recent trip to South Africa to the Krueger National Park and Makutsi Farm.
